A great day had by all
| |
This year’s club championships were held on Sunday 4th of December at Westhill Pool.
CONGRATULATIONS to all the swimmers who took part, swimming brilliantly and cheering on their fellow swimmers so loudly.
The atmosphere at poolside was fantastic so a big thank you to all the family and friends who came along to support the event.
Well done to all the swimmers who won medals, ribbons, achievement certificates or gained PBs.
Special congratulations to Robbie MacKenzie who won the overall trophy for Best Boy and Leigh-Anne Alexander and Megan Merrilees who share the overall title for Best Girl. Each of these swimmers won all of their races with personal best times. Some club records were broken too, three by Chris Wood and one by Leigh-Anne Alexander. Well done!
The gala would not have been possible or been such a great success without those who volunteered as timekeepers, recorders, raffle sellers etc. or the coaches who endeavour to make sure their swimmers work hard, fulfil their potential and most importantly enjoy the sport.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH……..
and we hope to see you all again next year!
MERRY CHRISTMAS
